    Liability Claims

    Submit claims for educators legal liability, general liability, or fiduciary liability to info@edinsuranceservices.com. Please include the following information:

    • Incident report
    • Notice of legal action or demand letter
    • Photos
    • Press/media reports

    Global Package

    The medical payments reporting time period for expenses incurred is one year from the date of the accident, unless extended by endorsement to three years. Submit claims through one of these methods:

    Medical Emergencies: Please contact Navigators' emergency assistance services provider, on collect call basis, at (410) 453-6330 with ID number of 341421. Also provide written notice to the claims department as noted above.

    Cyber

    Notify Beazley upon suspicion that personally identifiable or confidential data for which the institution is responsible might have been compromised. Report claims no later than the end of the policy period, the end of the optional extended reporting period, or 30 days after the expiration date of the policy period in the case of claims first made against the insured during the last 30 days of the policy period. For legal obligation to comply with a breach notice law, report via email or telephone as soon as practicable during the policy period; incidents discovered within 60 days of policy expiration shall be reported no later than 60 days after the policy period.

    Email bbr.claims@beazley.com or call the 24-hour hotline at (866) 567-8570 with the following information:

    • School name and policy number
    • Short description of the incident
    • Date the incident occurred (if known)
    • Date the school discovered the incident
    • Contact information for the point person handling the investigation

    Do not:

    • Email Beazley staff directly to provide the initial notice
    • Include any personally identifiable information or protected health information
